Seeliebe Beach Club: Caribbean Vibes on Lake Constance

If you are searching for a place that feels like the Caribbean but is firmly rooted in Europe, Seeliebe Beach Club is a destination worth discovering. Located directly on the shores of Lake Constance, this beach club offers relaxed holiday energy, turquoise water views, and a lifestyle atmosphere that feels far removed from everyday life.

A Beach Club Experience — Without Leaving Germany

The Seeliebe Beach Club is known for its sandy beach area, stylish loungers, and open views across the lake toward the Alps. Palm details, comfortable seating, and curated music immediately create a summer mindset. On warm days, the light reflecting on the water gives the entire space a Mediterranean glow, making it easy to forget that you are still in southern Germany.

This is not a traditional lakeside café. It is a modern beach club designed for long afternoons, sunset drinks, and spontaneous moments that feel like vacation.

Food, Drinks, and Laid-Back Luxury

The menu focuses on light, fresh offerings that fit the beach club concept perfectly. Guests enjoy cold drinks, classic cocktails, Italian coffee, wine, and small dishes that are ideal for sharing. Everything is served with a sense of ease — no formality, no rush, just relaxed enjoyment by the water.

Whether you stop by for a daytime drink after swimming or settle in for the evening as the sun goes down, the atmosphere remains effortlessly stylish and welcoming.

A Favorite Spot for Locals and Travelers

The Seeliebe Beach Club attracts a diverse crowd: locals looking for a summer escape, couples enjoying a relaxed date, and travelers exploring the Lake Constance region. You do not need to be a hotel guest to visit, which makes it an easy and popular stop for day trips.

During peak summer days, arriving earlier is recommended, as the best spots fill up quickly when the weather is good.

Why It Belongs on Your Lake Constance Itinerary

What makes this place special is the combination of location and feeling. Few spots around Lake Constance manage to deliver such a strong “holiday abroad” sensation. The mix of sand, water, music, and scenery creates a beach club experience that rivals coastal destinations — without flights, crowds, or long travel times.

If you are curating a list of inspiring places, hidden gems, or lifestyle destinations, Seeliebe Beach Club stands out as a must-visit summer location.

Final Impression

Seeliebe Beach Club is proof that you do not need the Caribbean to feel like you are there. With its relaxed luxury, scenic lakeside setting, and unmistakable summer vibe, it captures the essence of a beach holiday in one of Germany’s most beautiful regions.

Perfect for slow afternoons, golden-hour drinks, and unforgettable summer memories — this is Lake Constance at its most stylish.

Sleep Under the Stars — The Magic of a Glass Igloo in Finland

There’s something almost mythical about staying beneath the Arctic sky, wrapped in warmth and silence, while the world around you drifts into a snow-white dreamscape. If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to watch the dancing auroras from your own bed — then the glass-igloo experience at Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort, offered via Arctic Direct, might be the answer. https://www.arcticdirect.co.uk/package/glass-igloo-finland

Igloo from the inside. Warm and cozy!

A Night Unlike Any Other

At its heart, the “glass igloo” isn’t a gimmick — it’s a design feat. The resort’s special thermal glass keeps guests warm even when the temperatures outside plunge, allowing you to gaze up at the sky without the chill. https://www.arcticdirect.co.uk/glass-igloo-holidays/finland

Imagine lying in a soft, reclining bed, under a clear dome of glass, surrounded by the hush of snow-covered woods. Outside, log cabins rest quietly among trees dusted in frost. Inside, you’re enveloped in cozy warmth — the crackle of a distant fire, the scent of pine, the gentle hush of winter night. https://www.arcticdirect.co.uk/package/glass-igloo-finland

On a good night, if luck and nature align, you may witness the magical glow of the Aurora Borealis — green and purple curtains of light dancing across the sky. From the comfort of your igloo bed, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime moment. https://www.arcticdirect.co.uk/package/glass-igloo-finland

More than Just a Place to Sleep

But the glass-igloo stay is only part of what makes this experience unforgettable. The package from Arctic Direct includes:

This blend of wilderness, comfort, and adventure makes the trip more than just a holiday — it becomes a memory etched in frost and northern lights.

Why It Resonates

In an era where travel can often feel mass-produced, the Kakslauttanen glass-igloo experience stands out for its intimacy and authenticity. It invites travellers to slow down — to breathe in the crisp air, to feel the hush of snow underfoot, to connect with nature in a raw yet comfortable way.

It’s not about glamour or luxury for show. It’s about seeing the Arctic on its own terms — silent, wild, and beautiful — and waking up under a blanket of stars that few ever get to witness.

For couples, friends, or solo travellers seeking more than just sightseeing, this kind of stay offers something different: wonder, tranquility, and perhaps the most serene wake-up call imaginable.

When to Go & What to Expect

The glass-igloos are available throughout much of the “Aurora season” — roughly from late August through to April. https://www.arcticdirect.co.uk/package/glass-igloo-finland

Even in deep winter, the heated igloos mean you stay warm. Meanwhile, daytime activities like husky-sledding or snowmobiling provide thrill and adventure, while evenings bring calm, warmth — and the possibility of a sky lit by dancing lights.

If you’re planning a trip, it’s wise to book in advance. This kind of immersive experience — combining comfort, wilderness, and a natural spectacle — tends to fill up fast.

In Conclusion: Why This Experience Is More Than a Holiday

The glass-igloo experience at Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort is more than just “another trip.”

It’s a reminder that travel can also be about stillness. A chance to reconnect with nature, to sleep under a sky that most will never see, to witness beauty in silence and cold, and to return home carrying a memory of moonlit snowfields, hushed forests, and shimmering light overhead.

If you’ve ever dreamed of seeing the aurora borealis without leaving your bed — this is as close as it gets.

Please note that we are not sponsored by the resort! We just love it!

The Sacher Hotel Salzburg

If you’re traveling to Salzburg, Austria, make sure to add a visit to the legendary Hotel Sacher Salzburg to your list — especially its refined coffee house, where Austrian dessert culture and old-world elegance come together in the most delightful way. The hotel, known for its heritage, charm, and warm hospitality, offers a quintessential taste of Salzburg’s culinary traditions.

One of the true highlights you simply cannot miss is the iconic Salzburger Nockerln. This light, fluffy soufflé is not just a dessert — it is a symbol deeply rooted in the city’s culture. Its three soft, snow-capped peaks are crafted to resemble Salzburg’s famous mountains: Mönchsberg, Kapuzinerberg, and Gaisberg. Each serving feels like a poetic tribute to the landscape, history, and soul of the region. Lightly sweet, beautifully golden, and served warm, it embodies both the simplicity and the elegance of Austrian cuisine.

Enjoying Salzburger Nockerln at Hotel Sacher is an experience that blends culinary craftsmanship, local storytelling, and authentic Salzburg ambiance. French Markets Unveiled: Discover Île d’Oléron’s Vibrant, Soul-Stirring Coastal Treasures.

French Markets: garlic and onions

On France’s idyllic Île d’Oléron, you’ll find some of the most charming and character-filled markets the Atlantic coast has to offer. Strolling through these lively stalls feels like stepping into the island’s daily rhythm — where fishermen unload “off-the-boat” fresh fish and seafood each morning, and local farmers proudly display baskets brimming with sun-ripened fruits, crisp vegetables, fragrant herbs, and homemade delicacies. The aroma of freshly baked bread mingles with the scent of the sea, while colorful produce and artisanal cheeses create a feast for the eyes long before you even take a bite.

These markets are more than places to shop; they reflect the island’s soul, its traditions, and the culinary passion of the people who call it home. Whether you’re searching for ingredients for a seaside picnic or simply soaking in the atmosphere, each visit offers something new to discover.

Hazy shade of winter

The Taunus is a small mountain range approx. 30 minutes away from Frankfurt. You can reach the top, which is called the Feldberg (881,5m above sea level), either via bus or with your car. For a short sightseeing, I recommend that you drop your car at one of the public parking areas and you hike to the top. Parking is for free and depending on your fitness level you can choose a parking which suits your condition (from 2 minutes to 1,5 hours). Of course there are also several mountain bike trails. In summer the Feldberg is the place to be for all motorcyclists to show off with their bikes.

There is a restaurant called Feldberghof (www.feldberghof.de) which offers a great scenic view over the Rhein-Main area. The restaurant has the charm of a ski chalet inside. The menu is written in the typical hessian (county) dialect. You will find a classic selection of typical German food. The quality is average, prices are decent. Oh..and by the way this restaurant is also a hotel and a civil registry office (you can actually marry on the top of the Taunus).

When night falls in Frankfurt am Main, the city reveals a completely different personality. Known as Germany’s financial capital by day, Frankfurt transforms into a glittering metropolis after dark — its famous skyline reflected in the calm waters of the Main River.
